is located north of Colombia on the Caribbean Coast Region, was founded in 1533, when it became one of the most important ports in America during the Spanish conquest. In the XXI century, Cartagena retains all its charm and beauty; people, culture, food, walls, fortifications, streets, castles, houses, windows, balconies, and many other charms make Cartagena a special and unforgettable destination. When you’re there, it’s as if time is running backwards. In 1984, Cartagena was named a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, quickly becoming an important tourist destination which is not only loved for its history and romance, but also where you can find many activities to do.
